Annie Tai is a Southern California native who has traveled the world in her prior career working internationally in Europe and Asia. Along with English, she is fluent in Mandarin and French. Annie received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from University of California, Los Angeles; and her Juris Doctorate degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. Annie graduated law school with a special focus in litigation.
While in law school, Annie competed in National Mock Trial Competitions and obtained prestigious internships with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia at the Hague, the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District – Major Crimes Division, and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office – Hard Core Gang Crimes Division, which reinforced her passion for zealously representing Clients. These experiences taught her the discipline necessary to get the job done and to fight relentlessly on behalf of her clients.
Prior to joining Albertson & Davidson, LLP, Annie also worked briefly in-house for a multi-specialty healthcare company, in Irvine, California for their Regulatory and Compliance Department where she reviewed FDA regulations and privacy issues for the corporation as well as a merger/acquisition case. After some time, she transferred into Reproductive Law, in Carlsbad, California where she had the opportunity to represent a variety of clients from Intended Parents to Surrogates, Egg and Sperm Donors for the drafting and review of contracts as well as assisting them with the establishment of their parental documents.
Upon joining Albertson & Davidson, LLP, Annie now focuses her practice on Trust, Estate, and Probate litigation where she can use both her prior litigation skills, and her interpersonal skills, to fight for abused Trust and Will beneficiaries.
In her free time, Annie enjoys playing beach volleyball and owns a Siberian Husky, whom she takes out for long hikes or runs through her surrounding neighborhood.
