Gian Ducic-Montoya

Partner / Director Litigation Operations

Gian N. Ducic-Montoya is a partner and Director of Litigation Operations at Albertson & Davidson, LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on cases involving Trust, Estate, and Probate litigation. She has stepped out and opened our newest location in Irvine, California, which opened its doors September 1, 2015—and is helping to oversee our expansion into our Los Angeles location.  Ms. Ducic-Montoya, a tenacious litigator, helped one of the Firm’s clients obtain a $5.7 million jury verdict in 2013.

Ms. Ducic-Montoya is the eldest of three children. She is a Colorado native but spent her early childhood relocating every few _DSC0554_web[2]years with her family. She is grateful that her father’s employment gave her the opportunity to see the country and experience life in Florida, New Jersey, and Washington before returning to Colorado, where her family still resides.

Ms. Ducic-Montoya attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While a student at CU, she helped raise funds for the Alpha Chi Omega foundation to benefit victims of domestic violence as a member of their philanthropy committee. She received an award for drafting the Best Appellant’s Brief in her section of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition from the University of La Verne College of Law, where she earned her law degree.

Before she became a member of the Albertson & Davidson team she worked for a firm in Claremont, California where she handled cases involving civil litigation, wrongful termination, personal injury, wrongful death and family law.

Ms. Ducic-Montoya’s hobbies include exercising, skiing, biking, reading, traveling, watching sports and spending time with her husband.
